How Green Is
Our Time? The title of Rose's In Time I See CD is derived from a creative interpretation of the spelling of her song Intimacy. This image is a pictographic interpretation of the CD's title, functioning as its cover. In this piece Rose designed and painted the rose, echoing her own physique with its asymmetrical balance. Although not consciously created as such, some also associate the cloud on the left with the one-armed singer/songwriter.
Certainly, re-titling this piece significantly emended its meaning. A meaningful title may contribute many dimensions to a piece, becoming its own work of art, poetry. Time to prepare and time to sow, Time to listen and time to learn, Time to receive and time to give, Time, take time, take time to live and know. Enjoy the lyrics of Calm Petition |
